This is tricky because I am really enjoying the voice of the reader, but not the story. I am beginning to think I just don't like books about grown-ups. Adults in fiction just seem to entangled, so emotionally constipated. I find myself screaming at the car speakers: "Tell the truth! Get a divorce! Do something you enjoy! I don't want to spend any more time with you whiny, repressed lot!" I think I am not the most empathetic person.
