Lynn's review
The Memory Keeper's Daughter by Kim Edwards
This is a book that finds an ordinary man unexpectedly at an exrarordinary moment in his life. When he makes a decision that will color everything else that follows, the reader may hate him and feel justified in doing so. The author then uses the rest of the book to help the reader understand and empathize, but also to see the ripples that long ago decision made in everyone's life around this character. Everytime you think you know where this book is going the author takes you somewhere else.
