I own a copy, read count: 1

I seem to have taken a slightly different meaning from "Ur" than some other reviewers. To me the entire story seemed to be gently ridiculing ereaders and the Kindle. The entire novella seemed to me to have a slightly mocking tone, while I've noticed that others read it as flagrant Kindle advertising. Maybe that is all it was supposed to be! But it didn't strike me that way and I should add now that when I read "Ur" I was not a King fan. In fact, I almost hated Stephen King. I have since come around and some of his books are among my favorites in their genre, but at that time I couldn't be bothered with him at all and "Ur" was only the second piece of his that I had actually finished.
"Ur" was the very first thing I ever read on my Kindle and even as a (at that time) King anti-fan I thought the novella was fairly good. Maybe it was just because I got it for free and I was excited to be reading anything on my shiny, new Kindle? Whatever. Four stars. It was better than "Bag of Bones".
