I'll have to say that yes; I am an otaku, but frankly... I was getting tired of the cliche manga. Have you ever noticed how there is no originality in the characters of manga today? Everything from one shoujo book can be mimicked in another shoujo manga, and it's the same thing with shounen. Over all, I was tired of the madness.

So I thought that maybe I should try something new. Ah -- this looks interesting. More of a graphic novel than manga (and not as detailed in character design in most manga), so I thought I'd give it a chance. And WOW.

I LOVED this series. Just the prologue almost made me cry -- even though Emily can be a little angsty sometimes, I could not put down this book. The art is very well done, especially the colors. I suppose you could say I color-gasmed.

Go out and read this book. It's one of the most original things I've read.
