Rabbit Redux
by John Updike
by John Updike
This is probably one of the single most depressing books I have ever read, and I have read a lot of dystopia. John Updike can write incredibly well, and that makes it all the more effective, which makes it all the more depressing. But, if you've read "Rabbit, Run," then this is definitely worth your picking up and checking out.
But make sure to read "Rabbit, Run" first. Trust me on this.
