this book wraps up the conclusion of the epic hero, james adams. it also gives insight into the directions of his friends and sister lauren adams, it also shows the where a bouts of his long-gone friends and draws back to tales of his childhood. Like the previous cherub books in its place, 'shadow wave' was fast-paced from start to end. Being the last book with the continuation of the main character, James Adams, i was expecting a grand-finale. to this extent i was disappointed as the storyline picks up from the 11th book about halfway through the 12th. the other half of the story is devoted to a different spy mission being taken out by his long time friend john. this secondary setting presented in the story is irrelevant to the reader and simply a waste of paper. as stated before, without giving anything away, i was deeply disappointed with the outcome of the series, with expectations being set a lot higher.
