really liked it
bookshelves: humor, pb-fiction

Incrediblly detailed illustrations in dark tones, with white text on black background make the ominous mood of this story even more intense. The presumed power of the cat (in fact, of the rich society of cats) make the mouse appear helpless, when indeed it is anything but.
Well worth discussions with readers of many ages.
