Odd is still a great character - these mini-prequels are losing their appeal though. The first couple were nice novellas relevant to the next full novel - These interludes seem to be one slightly-too-long- for-novella stories have no end of their own - just continued, next serial installment. I'd resent that format less if it were more honestly presented (hello Green Mile, and so much Dickens work)- I didn't expect this to end at a chapter end, and have interlude 2 begin at the next chapter. One prequel/related tale for 2-3 bucks seems fine, but 3 presented as 3 books, that are really 1 book badly split up, for 9 bucks seems NOT fine, for some reason.

Oh, and one page simply repeats itself on the next, and then on the third the story jumps ahead as if you had that middle page to read. Another reason I don't love eBooks. Not like I can return the flawed file to iTunes, right? I miss Borders, again . . . sigh.
