Wonderful! This is Harlan's second book geared towards the young adult crowd, but his adult readers will love it, too. Really, the only difference between his YA stuff and his adult stuff is that the main characters are in high school, the books are shorter, and the themes are bit more teen-ish. Otherwise, it is the same sort of fast-paced, plot-twisting action that makes Harlan's books true "page-turners." Also, I should add that his typical wit and humor are ever-present in the book, as are his great little paragraph-long insights into life.

This book is the follow-up to "Shelter," and I would recommend reading that one first. That being said, I think I enjoyed this one even more than that one. Harlan has created quite the series!
