So far this book is FANTASTIC. Presents a real person with supernatural talents.

Notable takeaway: When a white child does something wrong they were punished by parents. When a black child did something wrong...they were dead. Black parents beat their kids into submission in fear of losing them. Gotta say...probably would have done the same in fear of losing Victor.

Chris Mcmanaman This was a pretty sad book. You can't help but feel bad for how crazy his life was. You want to hold him accountable but you haven't walked in his shoes. He did the best he could. Great book about a human being.
