A non-fiction look at the history and use of antidepressants, primarily by teenagers and young adults. It explores how these commonly used medications affect this age group, who are trying to define themselves. It looks briefly at some other therapies besides medications, and at some different medications, but does not cover this too deeply. I thought the author gave a fair and unbiased account of this subject even though she has been a user of these meds herself. I learned a few things, and found quite a bit of food for thought.
