An excellent read. Well researched and good character development. So well crafted, it makes you want to write something, anything. Good character development. Based in historic facts, covering several years. Inflexible Baptist preacher takes wife and four daughters to Belgian Congo in the 50s. Standard conflicts with villagers, village "doctor", and climate. Remember villagers didn't want to be water baptized because a child was killed by a croc.
