This series by Melissa de la Cruz is a nice read. It doesn't have you lamenting any cliffhanger endings, but keeps you looking forward to the next book. When I began this book, I couldn't remember every detail of the 1st bookWitches of East End as far as the gentlemen went, but remembered as I began to read this book. The ladies are definitely the focus and it is interesting to see the twists and turns and trying to figure out who actually is responsible for the bridge being destroyed. Some times who you think is good, isn't and vice versa. As with most 2nd books, it is more of a link between book 1 and 3. There are several unresolved issues from book 2 that will hopefully be completed in book 3. A nice quick summer read.
