it was ok

To be fair, I skimmed it. I was interested because of some overlap in themes with our book (gratitude, noticing God's activity and blessing in the small things of life).

Voskamp's writing is flowing and poetic, to the point of distracting me from her stories and points. The reminder to be thankful and mindful are good. I can't help but think she's not being quite honest with us about what her life really looks like. I want to hear more about the moments of challenge and frustration and boredom and real life.
