Madly is a short story (53 pages) about the life of Madly, an eighteen year old mermaid princess who lives in the human world with her friend Jersay and her destined mate Aiden. She feels just a brotherly affection for him but she is sure that she will soon feel the mating bond that she is supposed to feel. When her family is held captive in their world Madly is the only one who can save them, with the help of an old crush, a powerful sentinel, Jackson. There is an undeniable attraction between them, but it isn't suppose to happen, it is forbidden. She is the princess and he is a sentinel. When their mission is about to begin the story ends and we are left wanting more.
It is a very good story, the first one I've read about mermaids, and I can't wait to find out what happens next.
