it was amazing
bookshelves: historical-romance, favorites

I bought this book for 20 cents at goodwill while looking for furniture to refinish. Reading the back of the book it sounded good so I thought I'd give it a try. Boy I'm so glad I did, it was fantastic! The main characters weren't your typical love struck hero and heroine, they both had a tortured past. I liked the fact that the heroine Emma was made of sterner stuff and not all needy and weepy. And that the hero Killoran was a arrogant scoundrel but deep down a caring person. Great book!

Anna Have you read any other Anne Stuart's, Lynn? I've read a couple (none of them your favoured HR though, they've been the the so-called 'romantic-suspense' thrillers set in present day), but she's a master of tortured badboys ;-)

Lynn Anna, I believe that this was the first book I've ever read of Anne Stuarts but it won't be the last, I like her writing.
