Nakazawa connects the dots between environmental toxins, genetics, and heavy metals in our foods, to show how we get autoimmune diseases. She is as gripping as John Grisham-meets-Erin Brockovich. There's a chance that reading this book will leave you in a Debbie Downer moment - to know so many toxins are in our food, indoors and outdoors. Instead, for me, I felt more in control of how I could limit exposure to certain toxins and it gave me a better idea of why good nutrition is vital.
