I received a review copy in exchange for my honest review from Ms. Vane.

Another deliciously sinful read from Ms. Vane! I have made quick work of reading through the Devil Devere series, unable to put my Kindle down unless it was to turn my air conditioner up because, Lord have mercy, this series is SPICY.

I enjoyed being able to read about Vesta's mother, Annalee, and how much in love she and Edward were. It was also enjoyable to read about Diana before she lost her husband, who definitely didn't deserve her, and of course Lud DeVere. Even though he's deliciously bad, you just can't help but love him!

I was confused by this one only because it seems like it should have been first, not third. Hopefully the next book will explain about "present-day" Diana and Lud. I've absolutely LOVED getting to know the characters, and Ms. Vane as well!

If you like a scintillating novel rich with vivid love scenes and history, you definitely need to pick up this series!

Victoria Vane
“from THE DEVIL YOU KNOW-

She wanted him too. He could see it in the rapid rise of her breasts. He could smell her budding arousal and would relish bringing her to full bloom. God, how he loved this dance! She had taken the first tentative steps, yet she still fought her desire, refused to give in to it, but he would lead her now. He was a master…and a ruthless bastard.”
