Read in January, 1988

** spoiler alert ** Spoiler alert: this is the sequence in which Robin (the second, Jason ___) dies. The original publication had an interactive gimmick, with two endings prepared, and readers told to call a phone number and vote. These creators are really talented, but this was grim. Part of the legend now... and, surprise, Jason comes back from the dead in the 2000s as (the new) Red Hood...
Read long enough, you will see everything. It is ok, on craft. It gets better, got better.
I would read it again for the Jim Aparo art, though he did not ink himself in these days; I believe the inker was the very professional Mike DeCarlo.
