I wasn't drawn in right away but it did pick up. I may have been distracted at first, not really sure. It was an interesting Bennett book though Mike is a little slow sometimes picking up what women are trying to tell him. It was definitely good and the ending was not what I was expecting at all. I expected him to plan a date with MC and get her back but he was very distracted though drug kings can do that. I thought he would be more remorseful and pleading with MC at some point but he always gets distracted by other things. With that ending the next book should be good since we were definitely left hanging!!
