Being as big as a Harry Potter fan as I was back in the day, I was amazed that my younger self had never had any inclination to read this book. I guess it had something to do with the fierce loathing I had at the time for all sports--magical or not. Anyways, I saw this book at a used bookstore for a dollar and figured I might as well read it. I'm not as enthused reading it as I would have been if I had read it ten years ago or so, but it was still interesting enough and I found it fascinating that Ms. Rowling had actually created this entire sport and its history--even if some of it may seem a little illogical. The book only took me an hour or so to read and it wasn't well wasted, but I don't think I'll ever read it again unless I decided to return to the world of Harry Potter fanfiction which is very unlikely.
