Nice! Though I struggled reading the first few chapters of this book I did like it. Death, Life and everything between it is what this ones all about.

I never got your update. Yes, I finished and I liked it. Not in the massively excited way but happy enough that the book seems like a good start to a promising series.
I feel the same way. Though I'm not really blown away by it, I'm still looking forward to its second book. yay! :)
