When in Doubt, Add Butter is one of those books that is most definitely candy for the brain. Gemma is a wonderful main character, she has a few skeletons in her closet that keep her grounded and make her out to be one of those main characters that you would love to have for a BFF. A few of the situations she finds herself in are a bit comical, I mean how could you NOT find hitting a peacock with your car funny? I was very pleased with the way the story concluded, and I am sure you will be, too.

Bottom line, When In Doubt, Add Butter is a fun, well written Chick Lit novel. It is not going to strain your brain in any capacity, but it will provide a welcoming escape from your every day life. Give it a read and let me know what you think!
