it was amazing
Read in January, 2008 , read count: Once

I loved this book in audio format. I'm not sure I'd enjoy it as much to read since that narrator does a wonderful job with the Scottish accents and the various characters. It is hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud. I got very involved with the story and worried about how some issues would be resolved. I got especially involved with a small boy, Bertie (5 years old), and his awful mother Irene who is obsessed with goofy modern parenting theories and is determined to raise him as a non-gender-specific child prodigy. The story concerns a group of people all living in flats at the address of the title.
