This started out like so many other books about the FBI in need of a civilian's help. The short story "With Open Eyes" is mainly why I read this book beside the fact I have read all of Iris Johansen's books. One of the rules in our house when I was growing up is if you start a book you finish it so I did & I have to say I am glad I did. This is a charachter that has struggled to overcome hardships which have helped form her into the person the FBI has had to turn to for help. I like that there was always a new clue being dropped with just enough info to keep me wanting to read to see what would develope next. It was a good read & I especially like the way the book leaves it open for more books to follow & a budding romance between the two main characters.
