I had to stop reading half way through this book, because I felt so invested that I was sure if I kept reading that I would have to end my own life. I felt so sad that so little has changed in this world - that no matter how clever we get, wisdom refuses to follow. I'm glad I returned quickly though, (after a dalliance with sexually transmitted cities) and made it through to the end. I lived another life through these words, and am grateful.
