This was a great book, based in historical fact, with a lot of wonderful artistic license. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is that at the end, I felt like I wanted more information. I felt like I was left hanging. I definitely felt I wanted the book to go on and was hard to leave it, and hard for me to want to start a new book right now. I need to revel in the characters for a bit longer.

The book was told through several points of view, with the story line jumping between them, soap-opera like. It left me constantly hanging, wondering where the characters were going. Which at times was maddening...but still...highly recommended.
