Read from July 17 to August 10, 2012

This is probably Graham Greenes's best effort. It centers around his usual themes of Catholicism and fallible mankind. A whiskey priest, and father, is on the run in Mexico when the church was outlawed and priests had to renounce their faith or face a firing squad. It isn't an easy read, but it's worth the effort.
