Known as one of the nation’s top forensic sculptors, Eve Duncan is no stranger to unidentified remains. Nine skeletons, including the bodies of children, have been unearthed near Georgia’s Talladega Falls. The killer knows Eve will jump at the chance to identify them in the hopes that one of them may be the remains of her daughter whose body has never been found. Eve enters a dangerous game with a cunning killer who is bent on taking her life.

This book is actually really satisfying thriller if you can through Eve’s cheesy romance drama that is interspersed between action sequences. The identity of the killer came as a complete shock to me which made me enjoy the book even more. The Eve Duncan books that follow seem to go downhill from here so savor this one.
