Enjoyable and satisfying (if slightly predictable) conclusion to this sometimes-horror-but-mostly-just-fantasy series for young adults. Unlike the first two books, this one doesn't tell the same story from a different perspective (I guess if we're still comparing MacHale to Durrell, this is the Clea of MacHale's series). It ties up all the loose ends nicely and everyone lives happily ever after (or hereafter, as appropriate).
