A stutter character kind of remind me of Julia Quinn's book "The Duke and I" and I loved the story.

Although has some similarities, I admit that I pretty like "A Scandalous Affair" yet I'm a bit disappointed of Camden because when he faced a problem, he closed himself. I prefer a man (in this case a main lead character) who strong enough to who hide in the corners. That's why I found Simon Basset more attracting in this case ^^

In contrast, I like Daphne's character who didn't judge someone by the cover. Hahahahaha... She tried to lure Camden's true characters. I like her when she stand on her opinion about Camden and remonstrated her brother's saying.

It's quite sad because it's not longer than 80 pages, I hope several pages could make a more fascinating story with more twists. But overall, this is a sweet and nice quick read. I enjoyed it!
