Read in July, 2012

The first several chapters concentratd on the war, in detail. The characters came alive.I was a little confused because of the narration.Big question..."who was the woman that told the story to him?" I never figured it out! It did take me a little while to really get into the book. Even at the end I never understood some parts. like.. why was it written in this aspect. it was a good book. However,I had a hard time deciding a 3 or 4 star. I hope others will read it so maybe they may give me a better understanding. There are several pleasant, surprizing twist I wans't expecting. So I give the first part a 3 and the last part a 4 because it really picked up & delivered. LOL.
