This book is a great vacation read.

Our main character, Dawn, felt a bit hard to like. She seemed to complain about some problems (her ex) that should could have easily fixed, so I found myself rolling my eyes every time she tried to call/see him. The plot also seemed a bit predictable, and unrealistic. When I started reading I though everything seemed relate-able, a young girl who can't find a job and has some relationship problems. By then end though, everything turned out just a little too lucky for Dawn.

That being said, I finished the book in a day. It was fun to read about all these women who had grown and been a huge success, and ever though they were fictional, they were still inspiring. In spite of my dislike fr Dawn I found myself rooting for her and Elliot to be together, and for her to end up a big shot writer. I wouldn't put this book on any must read list, but is was a fun and quick read!
