I was unfamiliar with the setting and time travel world altogether, so I didn't get most of the references. Its very cute and clever, though, so I would probably like it better upon retreading it.

My major complaint is the complete lack of cats in the future. I suppose that explains the lack of Internet as well, since as everyone knows, the Internet mainly serves as a repository for captioned cat photos. I suppose once cats went extinct, there would no longer be any need for the Internet.

Just kidding. Seriously though, I wish I knew or cared more about Victorian England, or maybe I would have liked the book as much as everyone else.
