Another enjoyable read from Frank Peretti. Didn't like it quite as well as the Darkness series, but it was an interesting story that asked a number of interesting questions. The novel tells a story of a quest for truth where media, art, and politics collide, specifically around the issue of abortion. The book seems to assume that the reader will not be in favor of abortion, or if they are, that they will be persuaded that abortion is unsafe or that abortion doctors are uncaring. While those things were necessary to driving the investigation in the plot forward, I was uncomfortable with those charicatures, and I don't feel as though they are legitimate arguments against abortion, if that was what they were supposed to be. In any case, I thought it was a decent read, but not Peretti's best effort.
