1. James is a little boy who used to be happy but when one day he went to the zoo his parents got eaten by rhinoceroses in the middle of day light. Having no more parents he has to turn to his evil aunties who constantly abuse him and don’t let him hang out with any kids his age. Then one day a crazy man gave him a magic bag that he is supposed to make him happy. James ends up dropping the bag and the magic goes into this peach tree that supposedly never grows peaches. The next day he goes outside and there he sees a peach on the tree that continues to grow and grow until its bigger than a house. His aunties try to make a profit off the peach with publicity stunts but won’t let James no where near it. So one night he goes inside the peach meets some giant talking bugs and then he travels to New York to have a better life with the bugs everyone eats the Peach and lives happily ever after.

2. “Then, one day, James’s mother and father went to London to do some shopping, and there a terrible thing happened. Both of them suddenly got eaten up by an enormous angry rhinoceros which escaped from the London zoo…” this lines refers to when James’s mother and father died and how he’s life went down hill ever since that incident.

3. I gave this book 4 stars because not only is this book is classic but its funny and I like funny books. I also like this book because that it has a movie to go with it.
