I think I would be happiest if I could give this book 3 1/2 stars. I really did enjoy the story and the concept. I found it a little slow in places and it took me awhile to really get into it. That said, I really liked the characters and was pleased with the setting. I thought the world was well-crafted and I enjoyed its lore. Saphira is an excellent dragon (I love books with interesting dragons) and I really liked her relationship with Eragon. I look forward to reading Eldest.

Ashlee What do think of it so far? That book is GREAT. Way better than the movie. If they could redo the movie for free, they should because that movie skipped over so many parts. That movie was only good to people who have not read the book, but for people who have read the book, it kinda sucked. (At least to me)

Paige I'm enjoying it so far. I'm not very far into it; I've been distracted by other books. I haven't seen the movie, so I won't be comparing the two.
