Picked up this book based on having seen and enjoyed the movie. Although the book is a little different to the film I found both highly entertaining.
The book cover, and Neil Gaiman's notes at the end, describe this as a fairy tale for adults and that is a really good way of looking at it. It's written like a fairly tale, but has adult elements in it. Interesting reading as it brings back lots of pleasant memories and evokes the magical world that we all once enjoyed in our childhood.
Once I started, I almost read this whole book in a day, so it's a quick read.
