I really hate this style of art. It looks like it is done in a computer modeling program with sort of bulbous, glassy looking figures. Unfrotunately there are no lines around the outside of the characters so it's almost like viewing the pictures through a dirty window where they lose definition and blend into each other and/or the background. The story was very mediocre with an obvious plot line and pretty lame mosnter jokes although I should note that as a jaded adult, I'm not the target audience here. I also found the glossary to be obligatory and not very helpful since there's no indication as reading that the back can be consulted for pronunciation and definition which seems clear from the context anyway.
