This being my first experience with G.K. Chesterton–outside of the numerous references C.S. Lewis makes toward him–I had no idea what I was getting into. What I found was a fascinating and engaging account of his reasoning behind his faith. You can see the influence he had on Lewis in his wit, and his strength in apologetics. This is one of the most enjoyable theology books I've read in a long time.

G.K. Chesterton
“Reason is itself a matter of faith. It is an act of faith to assert that our thoughts have any relation to reality at all.”
