After glennoras mother disappeared ten years ago glen has wanted nothing more then to escape into space as part of a training program. But all her plans shift when her father invents a bracelet that allows Glenn and her friend Kevin to cross over the rift that divides her city and what she thinks is a barren wasteland. Suddenly everything she knows is pulled out from under her, and Glenn is faced with the challenge of mastering a power she doesn't fully understand.

This was a great read and pulled me in right from the beginning. A couple plot points I figured out early on, but the racing pace and the descriptions of Glenn and her ability kept me hooked.

I'd give it 4.5 just based the enjoyment factor
