Read from July 12 to 13, 2012, read count: 1

It had so much potential.. and the idea was good and original but.. it was a little lacking in depth. Each time a new character was brought in or the story line took a new route, it was exciting but it always waned. I would find myself thoroughly enjoying the story and then getting bored, and something would happen and i would be avidly reading.. and then i would lose interest again.
I think the only thing that kept me reading was the potential of a good adult fantasy. The characters were older and had interesting aspects, but they all fell together sort of randomly and too quick! Relationships like that just are not believable when they progress from meeting to love all in 2 pages (exaggerated but you get my point). I know its fantasy and 'love at first sight', but it could have been a little more complicated.
I will read the next book to see if anything progresses..

Ciara1973 Wow. I felt the same while reading this book.
I'm not sure if I will read the rest.
