Fenton is trying to fit in to his new, puberty enhanced body. His formerly dorky self is now being accepted by the jocks, and he's not sure how to handle this. When a beautiful girl moves into his best friend's house for the summer, Fenton finds himself falling in love. To complicate things his mother is acting even more crazy then usual, and as his life begins to unravel, Fenton learns about friendship and perseverance.

I picked this book up because I liked the title and a ya story with an interesting male protagonist is good.

I finished it because it read quickly, and I really liked the character. Plus his quirky mother and all the situations he got himself into were amusing.

I would recommend this to Aidan, because it reminds me, in some ways, of "Swim the Fly", and I know he enjoyed that book.
