Definitely just okay. I can appreciate the unifying holiday (Christmas and Hanukkah) theme and the fact that these three stories are actually connected but this book is no Christmas miracle.

John Green's story is full of your typical John Green cliches. (Dorky guy and dorky friends go on adventure to Waffle House. Dorky guy and dorky girl -- who so obviously has a crush on dorky guy! -- get together. Then I read Lauren Myracle's story. It was my first time reading anything by her and all I can say is that the characters were actually pretty interesting but the pig storyline was totally 'tarded. Last I read the Maureen Johnson part, which was technically what came first. I already knew who Jubilee was so I didn't really care for this story all that much and thus skimmed most of it.

If you are a fan of any/all of these writers then you probably will enjoy this and should read it. However, if you have not heard of any of these writers I would not suggest that this be your first read.
