really liked it
bookshelves: childrens-and-young-adult, books-i-own, read-more-then-once, fantasy-sci-fi-horror, anthropomorphic, series, bought-new
read count: many

As a child I love this book and the series, though I think I have grown out of them now. My favourites other then this one were Martin the Warrior and Mossflower. I do have an urge to read them all again, such a pity I gave most away to charity...

I love the whole woodland animals vs. vermin thing - though it is quite simplistic that way. I also love how amidst all the battles and fighting - of which there are many - there are the peace loving creatures of Redwall and all those yummy descriptions of food! It always had my mouth watering.

Must read this book again some time. It's the one I haven't got rid of yet as I bought the special edition hardback.

Robin This was a charming book as was Desperux (probably spelling it wrong). I think my favorite mouse children's book though is Ms. Frisby and the Rats of Nihm. That was very good and the cartoon done by Don Bluth was just plain charming -- I highly recommend them both.

Fiona Oooh thanks - I want to read Desperux it looks kinda cute. There's the movie out which I'd like to see, but not till I read the book which won't be a while yet. Have you seen it?
