OK. I'm not proud of this one, but I was given it by a friend who was moving back to Mobile and didn't want to pack a cheap hardback. I needed a break from the Gettysburg drama and read this page turning pice of crap. Wow. The protagonist's name is (I couldn't make this up) Stone Barrington. He's (naturally) an ex-cop, now lawyer, dashing, heavy drinking, and unattached. Need I say more? He eats steak and drinks artisan bourban, saves women in distress, and catches killers. Enter at your own risk.
