Genre: mystery,revenge, love triangles.
Summary: Sophie starts the book with her powers trapped and at the doorstep of the Brannicks, a powerful paranormal hunting family. She reveals some mysteries about her family and the dastardly plot of the Casnoffs.
Response: Oooook, so I was super excited to read this book and get it all finished. HOWEVER. I do NOT think that this is the end. There felt like there was wayyy too many loose ends. It was almost as if Rachel Hawkins was hoping someone would ask for a fourth novel. We shall see. (but it could totally work)Sophie is a little snarky which is funny in some cases, but in others, it seems a little amateurish. I appreciated her struggles with the love triangle. It was sweet without having to delve into twilight-esque teams. I wish the summary at the end was a little more concise, specifically, did anyone learn their lesson, what was everyone's life like after the big battle, etc, etc.
