I enjoyed the story, but the true brilliance of the book was not the plot, but the writing. I couldn't read it without a pencil in my hand, for fear that I would lose a beautiful description. I loved the inner struggle I felt for the main characters and I couldn't figure out an ending in my mind that would resolve it for me. The ending wasn't fairytale, but it was strangely satisfying, and fit. For someone who requires the "right" ending, I was very grateful.
