Sinfully Addictive
This thriller starts off with a BANG!
Who would kill a doctor? Maybe a bad diagnosis, a botched procedure, or an overlooked or under prescribed psychosis?
So, when you wake up next to one and she happens to be your best friend, what do you do?
Detective Brianna Morris is determined to find out who killed her friend, but left her alive, even though she may have a bit of a knot from the blow to the head she took. But where do you start, when you have no idea what's going on, and no clue as to why?
Why was Brianna's life spared? When partner Steven Kemp, tries to convince her to stay away from the case because it's too close to home and she's involved. It only pushes her further to find the culprit!
But does "Bree" know all of the people her friend Dr. Nadia Hollister knows? Are there secrets between them? As Brianna delves deeper, she finds maybe she didn't know Nadia as well as she thought.
As Steven and Brianna try to figure out how she became part of the murder, what secrets will she uncover? Will the answers lead to more than she bargained for, or a fear she never imagined? Maybe the murdered will come back to finish her off?
Can Nadia's daughter, though distraught provide any information? Will the attraction that Steven has for someone bring to the forefront the underlying tension between Steven and Brianna, and will it hinder their progress?
I love a good mystery and this one draws you in and keeps you reading like an addiction! It was hard to write this review and not give away too much! This was such an AWESOME read! Just the right amount of everything to make it sinfully delicious!
Stacy you have officially become one of my favorite authors! I can't wait to read what you have for us next!
