For the Relief of Unbearable Urges: Stories by Nathan Englander
so, in barnes and noble the other day, i picked up this book...it's beige textured cover, the ink of the title's letters running like it had gotten caught in a storm, or in someone's tears. i flipped to the last story, "in this way we are wise" and read it, standing in front of the shelf, tears streaming down my face. that story was amazing. it's the only one i've read, but i give the entire book five stars just for that one story. and i plan on purchasing the book and reading the preceding stories.
